ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Through involvement in our 12-week day program, individuals will be given the chance to participate in activities that fit into the 7 fundamental areas that we feel are imperative to acquiring necessary life skills for the future. Some activities may include:

ABOUT THE SOCIAL
The Social will allow participants aged 19+ to meet with the same group of peers every Thursday evening to participate in a variety of activities within the community. Each session runs for12-weeks. Participants will be provided with a schedule of activities at the beginning of each session.
This includes the following:

DISCOVERY
WEEKEND RESPITE
ABOUT DISCOVERY
This program is designed to allow individuals 19+ to meet with peers from their community to build connections and friendships. The GOALS team will work with individuals to further develop social and communication skills while participants enjoy being out in the community. The Day Outings occur once per month and include a variety of excursions.
This includes the following:

OVERNIGHT RESPITE
WEEKEND RETREAT
Independence and life skills are at the core of our mission. Our Weekend Retreats offer a unique experience for individuals to feel what it might be like to live independently. Participants will learn about in-home safety, how to complete in-home daily tasks and have the opportunity for hands-on practice. The retreat also gives individuals the opportunity to explore different areas of the community and most importantly have fun!
This includes the following:

Respite services beginning Friday from 6:00 PM - Sunday 4:00

CAMP GOALS
Camp GOALS is a completely unique experience for participants. During the course of the week, individuals will have the opportunity to develop and acquire new life-skills in an independent living environment. Participants will learn about self advocacy, safe food handling, community and in-home safety. Participants will also take part in literacy & budgeting activities, creative expression and physical & mental wellness excercises . Camp GOALS gives individuals the support needed to build confidence, create lasting friendships, and wonderful memories with their peers in a safe environment.
This includes the following:

ELIGIBILITY
These programs are designed for individuals who are 19+ and able to participate in activities with minimal supports in a 1 to 5 ratio. The individual may need some prompts or reminders to stay on task, is able to communicate wants and needs and does not require behavioural redirection.
